Having two older cats one is 23 years old the other is 20 and both still healthy as an ox, i never understand why people would abandon them. They are the sweetest cats you could ever have when they reach their golden years.

I will never understand why people abandon senior pets. My dad's kitty Nimitz was the sweetest girl ever, and as she got older, she somehow became even more cuddly, always sitting on laps or next to my dad at his desk. She died a couple months ago at age 17. She demanded she be in the room with my parents for her final days, and ended up dying in my arms when I went to visit.

Bruce and Terry are badass. So many senior animals are dumped following their owners being moved to a nursing home or passing. I’ve got a little old man cat that wandered up. The dementia is tough to deal with, but he deserves to live out his life.

My mom is kicking my sister out, currently in the process of, even her refrigerator is molded and mice are getting into that. I had my first service dog preserved and my relatives were not supportive. They thought it was morbid, but they failed to understand my feelings! Daisy Lou took care of me in her life giving her all for this Veteran who was injured in the line of duty in the Army. Burying a pet is saying goodbye forever, but preserving her helped me deal with her loss. However I found that it also helped her son too. She was extremely close to him and they always were together in my bed next to me. I never knew how much a dog does grieve for a lost relative until I saw him looking for her everywhere I would go. If she saw a dog that looked like Daisy Lou he was insistent to go see if it was his mom. When it wasn't I saw how hurt he was. Well 3 months later after Daisy Lou was home I introduced her to his freeze dried mom. He could smell it was her and he realized she was there, but she was gone. It gave him comfort and for over two years I would periodically bring her out so he could be with her. He stopped looking for his mom when she was home and I showed him her. He even knew she was dying before she died. Not only did her lifeless body help me get through her loss it helped her son. He came to terms with her death. Just having her still around comforts me, I still dress her up in her clothes. She has two beds and a daisy crocheted blanket with Daisy's on it. I can touch her because she is still there with me in body. It comforts me a lot. When I pass away I had asked to either put her in my casket with me or to have a tomb and put all my pets in my tomb with me. Unless there is someone in my family that wants one of them around. A freeze dried animal must be completely enclosed to keep bugs from eating them. If ants or any bugs get inside, just stick the animal in the freezer to kill the bugs. They need to be cared for even though they are dead.

As an Eagle Scout myself, no one has an issue with mixed sex organizations. Boy Scouts was never intended to be a mixed sex organization. There already existed a similar program called venture scouts which was specifically mixed sexes. This was about activists attacking an organization and the Boy Scouts losing all of their ideals and not having the courage to say we are for males only. It’s totally ok for an organization to be only for males, only for females, orl mixed. Sadly BSA had been in decline for years but when they changed the standards many former scouts are no longer supporting the organization or sending their kids to it. Hilariously, Girl Scouts does not admit males so good on them for sticking to their ideals.

I am a Boy Scout and I started as a lion when I was 5 in the pack and I am 12 now and currently on my board of review for life scout and on track for eagle by my 14th birthday. My favorite merit badges are similar to yours but geocaching is also a very fun one.
